One-in-five U.S. Millennials see American flag as sign of ‘intolerance’ and ‘hatred
(National Sentinel) Warning Sign: A new survey found that roughly 20 percent of American Millennials have been brainwashed into believing that the U.S. flag is a symbol of “intolerance and hatred.”
According to the “State of American Patriotism Report,” which was designed to assess the patriotism and historical knowledge of young Americans, also found that six in 10 Millennials (ages 22-37) actually believe the United States is racist and sexist.
As bad as these results are, it gets worse: The survey results indicate that love for country is declining among young Americans in general.
For instance, nearly half — 46 percent — of young Americans between the ages of 14 and 37 did not agree with the statement, “America is the greatest country in the world.” Also, more than half — 53 percent — say the U.S. is a sexist country, while 54 percent said our country is racist.
The survey was conducted by the public opinion firm YouGov for the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG), a non-profit organization that educates Americans “about the values and principles that make our nation exceptional,” CNSNews.com reported.
FLAG founder Nick Adams said he was “totally unprepared” to see the “epidemic of anti-Americanism” that was revealed in the survey.

“That half of millennials and Gen Z believe that the country in which they live is both ‘racist’ and ‘sexist’ shows that we have a major fraction of an entire generation that has been indoctrinated by teachers starting in grade school that America is what’s wrong with the world,” Adams said.
His organization sounded the warning alarm for our society as “younger Americans are becoming unmoored from the institutions, knowledge, and the American spirit that keeps America great.”
In a finding that will no doubt delight the Marxist American Left, for example, when asked if the U.S. “should be driven by capitalism or socialism,” 48 percent of younger Americans chose socialism (though not having lived under a socialist system they are relying on the unrealistic utopian vision of socialism they are learning in school).
The organization also survey results indicate “recency bias among the young,” as 55 percent of those between 18-21 think Barack Obama was a greater president than the man who successfully led us in rebellion from Great Britain — George Washington, our first president.
Given the garbage that is being taught to our kids by the Left-wing education establishment, fed to them by the entertainment and pop culture elite, and preached to them by Democrats, it’s no wonder they hate their country.
There’s also this: The lack of basic civics instruction in primary schools is having a negative effect as well. FLAG found that eight in 10 respondents could not name the five rights in the First Amendment or how many amendments were contained in the Bill of Rights.
There was some good news, however.
FLAG reports that Generation Z (ages 14-17) were most likely to know when the Constitution was ratified (June 21, 1788, when the required ninth state voted to ratify) and the number of amendments in the Bill of Rights. Also, 78 percent of younger Americans said they were proud to be Americans while 85 percent said they enjoyed seeing the American flag displayed on the Fourth of July.
What this study makes plain is that behaviors are learned, not inherited. What’s also true is that in the Left’s insane quest to destroy our heritage they are actually dismembering the country.
