Ocasio-Cortez: ‘Impeach Trump NOW!’ (without evidence of a crime)
(National Sentinel) Radical: Rep-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t even been sworn in yet, but she is all ready to impeach POTUS Donald Trump, even though there has yet to be any evidence of a criminal act to support it.
During yet another Q & A with reporters on Monday — she’s already the latest Left-wing darling of the establishment media — she was asked a loaded question: Is talk of impeachment premature?
“Not to me,” she said.
“I’ve been supportive of impeachment for some time now so I think it just adds to the case,” she said in reference to former POTUS personal lawyer Michael Cohen’s plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller last week — a deal in which Mueller appears to left out of court filings evidence that exonerates the president, as we reported.

“I mean, it’s just, this is ridiculous. This is outrageous. In 1998, the entire Republican Party decides to impeach Bill Clinton over what standard? And the fact that they have to raise that standard to go above and beyond,” she said.
Of course, Bill Clinton lied to Congress and obstructed justice, so there’s that.
And perhaps little Miss Ocasio-Cortez should make an effort to read and understand the Constitution she is soon to swear an oath to: Impeachment proceedings are based on “high crimes and misdemeanors,” not hoax Russian “collusion” allegations or billionaire businessmen who, before becoming president, pursued a real estate deal in a foreign country.
That is the “standard” under which Clinton was impeached.
Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t even explain herself — as usual — when she was challenged by reporters to define what ‘standard’ she is talking about.
“Well, I just think, overall, when you look at the broad stroke they took, how far they would take it, and how granularly they would dig into that process,” she stammered.
This woman’s level of knowledge regarding our system of government is shockingly poor, but then again, she’s much more interested in being a Left-wing activist than a legislator.
It’s going to be a long two years.
