When OBAMA used vulgar language, Rolling Stone thought it was COOL
(National Sentinel) Hypocrisy: The establishment press and Democrats heavily criticized President Donald J. Trump last week after he allegedly used strong language to describe some poor countries.
According to multiple reports, Trump called certain countries “sh*tholes” when discussing an immigration reform bill with members of Congress in the Oval Office.
However, a December 2012 profile of “presidential profanity” by Rolling Stone presented similar language used once by President Obama in a far less critical manner (Warning: Strong language ahead).
“Our 44th president has a very vivid vocabulary. Obama famously called Kanye West a ‘jackass,’ and on the audiobook version of his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, you can hear the future president mimicking an old high-school friend who evidently knew his Richard Pryor: ‘You know that guy ain’t shit. Sorry-ass motherfucker ain’t got nothing on me.’ But it was in the pages of Rolling Stone that Obama really drew the ire of the pious, calling opponent Mitt Romney a ‘bullshitter.’ Sometimes the dirty word is the most precise,” said Rolling Stone‘s profile of Obama.
“That’s a profoundly different approach to the topic, isn’t it?” The Gateway Pundit observed. “It sounds like they’re saying Obama was smart and cool for using such language.”
There is some question as to the accuracy of Trump’s words. The president has admitted using “tough” language, but there is a conflict among lawmakers who were in the room at the time.
“I’m telling you he did not use that word…and I’m telling you it’s a gross misrepresentation,” Sen. David Purdue, R-Ga., said, after first saying he couldn’t recall.
“I do not recall the President saying these comments specifically,” Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said.
“You’ve seen the comments in the press, I’ve not read one of them that’s inaccurate … He said these hate-filled things and he said them repeatedly,” Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Iowa, said.
