Another LIE! #neverTrump Wall Street Journal’s claim Prez’s lawyer paid HUSH money to adult film star is BOGUS (even SHE says so!)
(National Sentinel) Fake News: Last week, The Wall Street Journal published an explosive story claiming that President Donald J. Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, paid an adult film star $130,000 shortly before the November election in “hush money” so she would not discuss a sexual encounter between the two publicly.
“A lawyer for President Donald Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter,” the paper reported on Friday.
Cohen denied the incident in the story saying the claim that Stephanie Clifford, a.k.a. Stormy Daniels, her on-screen name, was paid any money or that any sexual encounter ever took place.
“This is now the second time that you are raising outlandish allegations against my client. You have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011,” he said.
“These are old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election,” a White House official added, responding to the allegation.
Last week Clifford herself also denied the allegations in a signed statement tweeted by Buzzfeed.
“When I met Donald Trump, he was gracious, professional, and a complete gentleman to me and EVERYONE in my presence,” said the statement.
“Rumors that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false. If I indeed did have a relationship with Donald Trump, trust me, you wouldn’t be reading about it in the news, you would be reading about it in my book,” the statement continued.
“But the fact of the matter is, these stories are not true.”
In addition, the White House released an audio recording refuting the WSJ’s claims that Trump made certain comments about North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The paper quoted Trump as saying, “I have a very good relationship” with the dictator, which caused confusion among many as it was then assumed that Trump had been in contact with Kim.
That wasn’t the case. Trump said; “I’d probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un of North Korea,” not “I.”
