James Woods NAILS Chelsea Clinton after she dares to lecture POTUS Trump over HAITI
(National Sentinel) Twitter War: President Donald J. Trump took heat late last week from the media over comments he allegedly made about Haiti and other poor countries in discussions with lawmakers about an immigration reform bill.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., claimed to media that Trump called Haiti a “sh*thole” and wondered aloud why the U.S. did not seek out immigrants from more successful countries.
The alleged remark earned the president a rebuke from former first daughter Chelsea Clinton.
“Mr. President, immigrants from El Salvador, Haiti and the 54 countries in Africa likely helped build your buildings. They’ve certainly helped build our country. cc @POTUS,” she tweeted.
Several credible reports have noted that money collected via the Clinton Foundation specifically for Haiti relief was misappropriated and even used to help fund Chelsea’s $3 million wedding.
That included up to $10 million that was supposed to go to build 500 homes that never got built. Documents found by government watchdog group Judicial Watch also noted that as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton essentially outsourced all U.S. aid to Haiti following a massive earthquake in 2010 to the foundation, which her husband, Bill Clinton, then directed largely to foundation donors.
Chelsea’s comments prompted a quick response from actor James Woods.
“Tell your dad, the bagman, to give the dough back to Haiti that you all pocketed. Then maybe we can discuss this other malarkey you’re trying to peddle,” he tweeted.
Many Haitians living in the U.S. have also been critical of the Clintons and the manner in which aid funds were distributed — or not, in some cases.
“The Clinton family, they are crooks, they are thieves, they are liars,” Haitian activist Dahoud Andre told the BBC in November 2016, just a few days before the presidential election.
Kim Ives, editor of Haiti Liberte newspaper, told the BBC: “A lot of Haitians are not big fans of the Clintons, that’s for sure.”
