A group of researchers from the UK have decided to pen a message to aliens, in the hopes of making contact.
The decision was put to a vote at the UK Seti Research Network (UKSRN) conference in Leeds on 7 - 8 September.
Their to bid to make contact will enter an international competition titled Breakthrough Message -- an initiative launched in July by Stephen Hawking and Russian billionaire Yuri Milner.
The aim would be to create a digital message representing humanity and planet Earth. And the grand prize for accomplishing such a feat is $1,000,000. [...]
