A Florida day care is suing a couple after they allegedly posted a false, negative review online about their two-year-old child being bitten by another child.

Mrs. B’s Daycare, in Spring Hill, lawyered up just days after parent, Daniel Dameron, posted multiple reviews of the child care center on several websites, FOX 13 reported.

“I tried not to chuckle because it was just so absurd,” Dameron told FOX 13 after receiving the lawsuit from the nationally accredited daycare that has been in business for 24 years. “You’re supposed to be able to write these reviews because you’re supposed to be able to alert the public as to a good or bad business.”

The couple said their daughter was bitten several times by another child at Mrs. B’s but were ignored.

“All I got was a shrug of the shoulders and, ‘if you don’t like it, that’s just the way kids are. You can take your daughter and go somewhere else,’” the parent said.

Dameron’s post started with “warning: child endangerment and abusive environment,” along with several paragraphs.

The lawsuit demands up to $15,000 in damages Mrs. B’s incurred as a result of the negative review, but the couple’s lawyer said it’s their right.

The body found Thursday morning in an alligator-infested retention pond in Florida was that of a “dark-skinned female” who had no marks from alligators or other wildlife, officials said.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jeff Williamson said on Twitter that the body was found around 6:30 a.m. soon after rescue crews resumed a search for a reported teenager who was seen a day earlier flailing his arms and screaming “it bit me” before disappearing under the water.

“No ID yet. No signs of any marks from alligators or other wildlife,” the sheriff’s office wrote, quoting Williamson. “We don’t know how the female got into [the] fenced retention pond. It is possible the victim was homeless. Investigation continues.”

“Female victim is late teens, early 20s. Witness made a good call when they saw someone go down," Williamson told Fox News.

Earlier Thursday Williamson told Fox News it could not immediately be determined if the body died from drowning or from a suspected alligator attack. He said the medical examiner’s office would me the determination for cause of death within the next few days.

Rescue crews began searching the pond after deputies received a call around noon Wednesday from a man who claimed to have seen a teenage boy struggling to stay afloat while yelling “it bit me” multiple times.

Eric Wolfe, who called 911, said he ran inside to grab binoculars to see what was going on before calling authorities.

“[I] had eyes on him the whole time and relayed his position to dispatch, and he went underwater and didn’t come up,” he told News 6.

Williamson said there are not reports of a teenager missing in the area and that the report was generated from a witness standing about 100 yards from shore.

He said the retention pond is known to be home to several alligators and crews spotted at least one during their search on Wednesday.

“There are many alligators in there. There are probably four alligators that I’ve seen. There's a big bull gator, probably about seven to nine feet,” Wolfe said, according to WFTV.

“No Trespassing” signs are posted around the fence pond; however residents told WFTV that people still swim and fish there despite the alligators.

 “I used to fish in there. I stopped doing that about a year ago, once that gator got way too big and aggressive,” said resident Luis Cadiz.

Authorities told local media that the alligator was six feet long – too small to inflict serious damage on a human, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Orange County Fire Rescue and the Orange County Sheriff's Office led the search.

Two Florida high school seniors were killed and one was severely injured Tuesday night when the Tesla they were driving in crashed into a concrete wall and burst into flames, police said.

The vehicle's driver, Barrett Riley, 18, of Fort Lauderdale, and front seat passenger, Edgar Monserratt Martinez, 18, of Aventura, were pronounced dead at the scene, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

A third student, backseat passenger Alexander Barry, 18, of Fort Lauderdale, was reportedly thrown from the car on impact. His condition wasn't immediately clear, but friend George Aloia told WPLG he was "pretty banged up."

Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officials said the gray 2014 Tesla Motors Model S was traveling southbound on Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale when it drove off the road and crashed into a concrete wall, WSVN reported.

A man who filmed the incident told the news station the car became engulfed in flames, trapping the driver and passenger inside. Officials said that friends of the victims were in a second car traveling behind the Tesla and watched as the scene unfolded.

Aloia, a friend of the victims, said Riley and Martinez "were the best guys. They were full of life. They loved their car — they really did."

Witness Wendy Mascolo, who said she prayed with the men's families, called what happened "absolutely senseless."

"They were supposed to graduate high school next week," Mascolo told WSVN. "It breaks my heart what those kids that all go to that school are going to go through and what these parents — they got the worst call of their life and their lives are never going to be the same."

Another witness, Larry Groshart, said the area where the crash occured is known for speeding and is referred to as "dead man's curve."

"I saw the car coming too fast quietly, but I could hear the tire roar," Groshart told WPLG, adding the Tesla must've been moving around 50 or 60 mph. "[It] bounced off the first wall, side-swiped it, then hit that corner and immediately burst into flames and moved that way, burning all the way, and it never stopped burning until it was burned up."

Mascolo added to WFOR-TV the "speed limit is 30 and even if you come around that curve doing 30, it still is a little too fast," she said. "You hear it all night. It wakes me up in the middle of the night all the time with them speeding."

It's unclear what caused the crash, but police believe speed may have been a factor. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which is investigating the crash, doesn't believe that the use of autopilot was involved.

A Florida police detective reportedly discovered a few furry stowaways hiding in her car Monday morning, which she said prompted an hours-long effort to free the meowing kittens.

Detective Michelle Grogan with the Ocoee Police Department was pulling out of her driveway when she heard the tell-tale cry of a kitten, she told Fox 35.

"Got in [the car], didn't have the radio on, I put it in reverse, backed up a little bit, and I heard it,” she said. “The 'meow… meow'. I was like ... are you kidding me?”

After jumping out to check, she reportedly found four kittens lodged beneath the hood of her car, stuck between the engine and front bumper.

She told the outlet that she “called in reinforcements.” It reportedly took a fellow officer, local mechanics, a sanitation worker and Animal Control officers to finally free the tiny critters.

The Ocoee Police Department shared photos of the “adorable kittens” on Facebook, saying that they “were recovered safely from the engine by our City personnel.”

Grogan told Fox 35 that she recognized the animals from the area, saying they had recently taken “shelter underneath our cars in the drive way.”

“I put it together,” she continued. “I’m a detective, you know, detective skills.”

The furry foursome will live in foster care until they’re old enough for adoption, the outlet reported.
