What? Nate Silver says GOP doesn’t like Ocasio-Cortez because she’s a Latina from NYC
(National Sentinel) Stereotypes: There is one political party preoccupied with DNA, race, gender, and skin color, but it’s not the Republican Party, much as we’re led to believe by the “establishment” media.
No, it’s the Democrat Party and it’s always been that way. Take a test: The next time you hear a politician or a talking head on a cable news channel bring up race/gender/creed/body parts/skin color/demographics, take note of which side of the political spectrum they are on.
Look Left, in other words.
Five Thirty-Eight editor Nate Silver just proved this point again on Wednesday when he made some absurd, flippant claims about why Republicans and conservatives ‘hate’ Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY.
It’s because a) she’s a Latina; and b) she’s from New York City.
Oh, okay. It’s not because she’s constitutionally ignorant and is a Marxist who wants to break our country with trillions in freebies we can’t afford.
Silver made his inane observations in response to CNN political analyst Joshua Green, who noted on Twitter that as he attended a GOP event at the Trump International Hotel, the politician being talked about most “wasn’t Trump, Pelosi or Schumer,” but Ocasio-Cortez.

“There are lots of reasons Ocasio-Cortez drives certain Republicans crazy, foremost among them her race and gender. But it’s also that she’s quintessentially a New Yorker and DC political culture is formal and prudish when NYC mostly isn’t those things,” Silver tweeted.
“Put differently, New Yorkers are very good at trolling, and Washington has extreme troll-vulnerability. It’s always made for a mismatch but more pronounced now that we’re in the Golden Age of Trolling. We may need to move the capital back to Philly to keep it a fair fight.”

We haven’t heard of any Republicans whom Ocasio-Cortez is “driving crazy,” but there have been more than a few who have shaken their heads and poked copious amounts of fun at some of the truly uninformed things she’s said — like the three “chambers” of government are the House, the Senate, and the presidency.
Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress — Uh, rather, all three chambers of government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House."

You have to admit that’s a hoot — and constitutionally ignorant.
As for Silver’s comment, he’s trying to make excuses for Ocasio-Cortez, who happens to be from the same city as POTUS Donald Trump. She doesn’t fit in the DC culture because she’s a feisty New Yorker who can hold her own — an attribute — while Trump is a vulgar, obscene, loudmouth buffoon who has no business in DC whatsoever.
The Left’s constant attempts to stereotype conservatives while at the same time complaining about stereotypes is one of their most endearing, and annoying, attributes.
As for Ocasio-Cortez, she’s about ready to meet the Democrat establishment head-on. And she’s going to lose.
