Rudy Giuliani: Special counsels ‘think they are GOD’

(National SentinelTruth Bomb: POTUS Donald Trump’s personal lawyer made an interesting observation about special counsels on Sunday, noting that they have almost supernatural powers to destroy the lives of anyone they choose.

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani noted in an interview that special counsels like Robert Mueller have the authority to prosecute “people at any cost” just days after the president’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to lying to Congress as part of the “Russia” investigation.

“This is what’s wrong with these special prosecutors and independent counsels: They think they’re God,” Giuliani, Trump’s lead personal lawyer, told John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” radio program in an interview that aired Sunday.

“They think they know the only truth that exists, even if there’s a lot of doubt about it. They seem to want to [prosecute] people at any cost, including the cost of ethical behavior or the rights of people. And because 70 to 80 percent of the mainstream media is biased, they let them get away with it,” Giuliani said in dropping a series of truth bombs.

In testimony to the House and Senate Intelligence committees last year, Cohen claimed he was not truthful regarding a POTUS Trump real estate project in Moscow, which never got off the ground. Even though he copped a plea with Mueller, Cohen could still face as much as six months in prison.

“It’s no secret that he wanted to be [White House] chief of staff or he wanted to have some very high position in the government, and the president didn’t think he was up to it, which I guess turns out to be absolutely correct,” Giuliani said Sunday of Cohen.

“I have to suspect that that ultimately created some kind of bitterness, and when this pressure was applied to him I just don’t think he withstood it,” the former Big Apple mayor said.

Last week, Mueller also accused former short-time Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort of breaking his plea deal by lying to investigators.

Mueller’s team has indicted and/or convicted more than 30 people and a few companies. But no one on the Trump campaign has been indicted or convicted of criminal “collusion” with Russia or working with Moscow to ‘steal the election,’ which was Mueller’s stated original mandate.

Without question, his appointment and subsequent witch hunt probe is the greatest political scandal in the history of our country.
