Zomato acquires logistics and food delivery startup Runner

Restaurant discovery and food ordering major Zomato on Wednesday acquired Bengaluru-based on-demand logistics and food delivery startup Runner for an undisclosed amount. A runner will continue to function as an independent logistics company. Mohit Kumar will remain the Founder and CEO of Runner and will continue working with the rest of the Runner’s founding team.
