Startup makes self-driving robots to deliver lunch to users
US-based autonomous delivery startup Starship Technologies has developed six-wheeled self-driving robots to deliver food to customers within a three-kilometre radius. The company claims the robots can complete their deliveries in as little as 15-30 minutes. Founded in 2014, Starship Technologies plans to launch 1,000 bots in academic and corporate campuses in Europe and the US within the year.
