No licence needed to set up charging infra for EVs: Govt
Addressing the concerns over charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, the Ministry of Power has said that companies setting up the charging infrastructure do not need licence for electricity transmission, distribution or trading. The development comes after the Union Power Minister RK Singh said new norms were being made for the establishment of charging stations across the country.
