Man Kills Family Friend for Hitting on Imaginary Girlfriend

(ANTIMEDIA) A Florida man is dead after killing a family friend for hitting on his imaginary girlfriend.

Thirty-year-old Brian Desario fatally shot David Armstrong, 56, on Thursday, according to the Pasco County Sheriff.

Desario, who had a history of mental illness, killed his mother’s friend because he believed he was hitting on his girlfriend, a woman police say doesn’t exist.

After law enforcement arrived at the scene, a fire-fight broke out between Desario and officers, which caused a local elementary school to go on lockdown. Once deputies pulled back from the exchange and negotiations failed to draw the gunman from the home, a robot was sent into the property.

Upon entering the home, deputies discovered Desario’s dead body. The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed to the public at this time.

Investigators say Desario had a stockpile of arms and ammo in his possession.

The incident is still currently under investigation.
