Google’s Chat shows failure to respect human rights: Amnesty
Commenting on Google’s Chat service, which does not have end-to-end encryption, Amnesty International has said with the new service, “Google shows a staggering failure to respect the human rights of its customers.” “Google should immediately scrap it,” Amnesty added. Chat will be a two-in-one service allowing users to send multimedia messages like on WhatsApp as well as traditional SMSes.
