Facebook spends record $3.3 mn on lobbying amid data scandal
Social media giant Facebook has spent a record $3.3 million in the first three months of 2018 on lobbying, according to disclosures filed with the US government. The company spent $3.21 million on lobbying in the same period last year. This comes while Facebook is under scrutiny as the data of its users was exploited to influence the US elections.
