Facebook does not see messages sent on WhatsApp: Zuckerberg
During his testimony before the US Congress on Wednesday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “Facebook systems do not see the content of messages being transmitted over WhatsApp.” He further highlighted that conversations on the messaging platform, which is owned by Facebook, are fully encrypted. Earlier, Facebook had admitted it scans users’ chats and photos on Messenger.
