DOPEY: Al Gore predicted an ICE-FREE North Pole 8 years…because ‘global warming’
(National Sentinel) Wrong Again: It’s been nine years since former Vice President-turned radical environmentalist Al Gore predicted that the North Pole would be completely ice-free by now.
In 2009, Gore told an audience in Copenhagen, Denmark, that there was a “75 percent chance” that during “some summer months” the “polar ice cap” would disappear completely within “five years.”
Also, in January 2006, Al Gore claimed that “within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return” and “a true planetary emergency” due to human-caused global warming.
Gore has made similar apocalyptic predictions about human-caused activity and global warming/climate change, beginning in 2006 when he released his documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth.”
The film won a Nobel Peace Prize, but shortly after it was released climate researchers debunked most of the claims the film made.
Among the claims made that did not come true: Sea levels would rise and swallow nations; the polar ice caps would completely melt; Co2 is pollution and it controls temperature; severe weather events are human-caused and are increasing; and the polar bears are dying out.
