Digital transactions in India may hit $1 tn annually by 2025
By 2025, digital transactions in India could be worth $1 trillion annually, according to a report by ACI Worldwide and AGS Transact Technologies. The user base for digital transactions is currently about 90 million, but could triple to 300 million by 2020. The country’s smartphone user base will also likely double to 500 million by 2020, the report added.
