Device that reads words user doesn’t speak aloud developed
Researchers have developed a device to transcribe words that a user verbalises internally but doesn’t speak out aloud. The device picks and feeds neuromuscular signals, in the jaw and face that are triggered by internal verbalizations invisible to the human eye, to a system trained to correlate particular signals with particular words. It conveys information to users via bone-conduction.
