Busted! Government’s climate agency found to be ‘adjusting’ temps to make it seem warmer
(National Sentinel) Fake Research: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been adjusting temperatures to make it appear as though the Earth is warming, according to the Real Climate Science blog.

In order to reach its conclusion, the site compared Raw NOAA Data and Adjusted NOAA Data to discover that temperatures have been manipulated by about 2.5 degrees over the past few decades.

“NOAA’s U.S. temperature record shows that US was warmest in the 1930’s and has generally cooled as CO2 has increased. This wrecks greenhouse gas theory, so they ‘adjust’ the data to make it look like the U.S. is warming,” the site noted.
“The NOAA data tampering produces a spectacular hockey stick of scientific fraud, which becomes the basis of vast amounts of downstream junk climate science,” Real Climate Science reported further.
“Pre-2000 temperatures are progressively cooled, and post-2000 temperatures are warmed. This year has been a particularly spectacular episode of data tampering by NOAA, as they introduce nearly 2.5 degrees of fake warming since 1895.”
The agency itself reported this week that the world had its coldest February since 2014.
“February 2018 ended up being Earth’s coolest February in four years. The December-to-February seasonal period also was the coldest it has been since 2014, according to scientists from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information,” said the agency.
The Real Climate Science blog noted that it is apparent the agency in the past has simply been inventing climate data:
Most of these adjustments are due to simply making up data. Every month, a certain percentage of the 1,218 United States Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) stations fail to report their data, and the temperature gets estimated by NOAA using a computer model. Missing data is marked in the USHCN database with an “E” – meaning “estimated.” In 1970, about 10% of the data was missing, but that number has increased to almost 50%, meaning that almost half of the current adjusted data is fake.
The site noted that fabricated temperatures indicate the globe has warmed four degrees since 1970, “relative to the adjusted temperatures which were based on actual station data.”
“This shows that the warming trend in the U.S. claimed by NOAA is based on computer models, not actual thermometer data or even adjusted thermometer data,” the blog noted, adding:
But here is the real smoking gun of fraud by NOAA. The adjustments being made almost perfectly match atmospheric CO2 levels – showing that the data is being altered precisely to match global warming theory.

“Science doesn’t get any worse than how NOAA handles US temperature data. NASA uses the NOAA data as the basis for their temperature graphs, which have also been massively altered to turn cooling into warming,” said the blog site.
Skeptics of the mainstream theory that human activity is causing the Earth to warm and its climate to change have long questioned much of the science surrounding the issue.
Getting the science right matters, they say, because government policies are based on it; if the data is false, then the impetus for the policy and subsequent regulations — which can be damaging to national economies — is summarily false, they argue.
That said, the Trump administration is pushing for sounder climate science. Earlier this week, Environmental Protection Agency administrator Scott Pruitt, long a skeptic of the mainstream warming theory, announced his office would no longer use junk “secret science” in which to base environmental policies.
“We need to make sure their data and methodology are published as part of the record,” Pruitt said in an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller. “Otherwise, it’s not transparent. It’s not objectively measured, and that’s important.”
