Amazon invests ₹2,600 crore in India unit













E-commerce major Amazon has invested about ₹2,600 crore into its Indian subsidiary Amazon Seller Services, according to filings. This brings Amazon’s total investment in its main marketplace business in India, to more than ₹20,000 crore. This comes amid reports of US-based Walmart trying to acquire a controlling stake in homegrown e-commerce firm Flipkart for around $15 billion.
