Smoking cigarettes for weight loss, giving your newborn babies a gulp of sugary soda, and dropping wholesome foods for processed candy bars in an attempt to drop pounds fast.

These are but a few of the vintage advertisements that major corporations were allowed to broadcast to consumers worldwide.

As a reminder of just how backwards many ‘health’ advertisements are, here are 4 truly insane ‘weight loss’ print ads from across the globe.

While viewing the ludicrous content, think about whether or not they’re really much different from many ‘health’ ads you see today.

1. Lose Weight with Cigarettes

This advertisement from 1929 from the Lucky Strike cigarette company shows how cigarettes were at one point actually marketed towards women as a fat-loss aid. Big tobacco was quite stalwart in denying the negative effects of cigarettes for years, despite repeated proof from health experts and scientific whistleblowers. Smoking now remains the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, ending the lives of around 393,000 Americans per year. On this note, you probably would want to try out the modern vaping device to lessen the number of deaths in America.

2. In Order to Lose Weight, You Need to Eat More Sugar

This ad, put out by sugar manufacturers in the 1970s, actually says that sugar can help you lose weight and eat less. ”When you’re hungry, it usually means your energy is down,” says the ‘health’ banner. ”By eating something with sugar in it, you can get your energy up fast.”

Unfortunately sugar is actually highly addictive, shown to be as powerful as cocaine by numerous studies. Sugar has also been found to feed cancer cells, prompt excess weight gain, and contribute to a number of other serious health ailments.

3. Forget Vegetables, Eat Psychoactive Drugs

This ‘dieting candy’ company touts a weight loss solution that completely removes ‘yawn rabbit food diets’ that contain foods like vegetables and other produce. Instead of eating broccoli, you can consume one of their stimulant-loaded diet bars. The bar even includes the psychoactive drug phenylpropanolamine, banned in the United States for causing stroke.

4. Feed Your Baby Lots of Soda

Seven-Up makers wanted you to know that it’s never too early to start giving your newborn baby soda. After all, it’s so ‘pure and wholesome’. Loaded with sugar and now high-fructose corn syrup, soda companies have recently started to dodge cancer warning labels due to the extreme toxicity of the ingredients they use. When given to toddlers, the effects can be even more detrimental on their developing bodies.

The internet is full. Or, to be more precise, it has run out of new internet addresses – having used up almost 4 billion since being set up 40-odd years ago.

The Internet Address and Naming Agency (IANA), which doles out blocks of new internet addresses (consisting of machine-addressable numbers rather like a phone book), said on Tuesday morning that it will allocate the last seven remaining blocks of addresses this month, including three to the overall internet registrar for Asia and the Pacific.

This could mean that in a year’s time you may hear about a new site – yet when you type its address into a web browser or click a link to it on a web page, your computer simply won’t connect to it because it will use an addressing system entirely different to the one used before.

It could even get worse than that, according to James Blessing, a member of the board of the UK’s Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA). “You might find that you can’t get online unless someone else goes offline,” he said. “It would be like the internet before broadband, when everything was on dial-up modems, and if too many people were dialling in then you couldn’t get connected.”

The problem has been exacerbated, experts agree, because ISPs, governments and companies that make the routers used in households and businesses have ignored the problem until the last moment.

Nor is there any way to estimate the costs involved in changing, because it depends on how well set up each ISP and each household is.

Last week, “Man-Made Mayhem,” a state-sponsored Synthetic Drugs Awareness seminar was presented at a local library. Without a reservation but spotting a few empty chairs, I asked for and was given a seat.

Judging by the sign-in sheet, almost all attendees were state employees, including the Mayor, the Police Chief and social workers employed by the War On Drugs (WOD).

Candy, the seminar leader, was young, adorable, great smile, and seemed right at home in front of the room. Her expertise on the topic of synthetic drugs, however, left much to be desired. If she were really an expert, why were there so many inconsistencies, half-truths and errors of omission in her presentation?

In fact, during the seminar, experts who actually know facts about drugs, like Dr. Alexander Shulgin, were ridiculed. Did those learned conclusions not fit the narrative?

After Candy mentioned Dr. Shulgin and his massive body of work, all the while shaking her head with a pitying smile, the social worker (according to her name tag) sitting across from me, muttered, “Idiot.”

Idiot? Really. Dr. Shulgin knows more in the tip of his pinky about drugs and their effects on human beings than this woman will know in her lifetime, particularly if all she ever learns is from state-sponsored seminars. And she calls him an idiot?

Is the tone here just a bit peeved? You betcha. Who do you think is paying for all this? Not just the seminar but the salaries and benefits and pensions of every government employee in that room. The least they could do is a) get it right and b) have some respect for the truth, even if it’s inconvenient.

Are synthetic drugs harmless? Nobody really knows. No studies have ever been done on them. As with alcohol, some users have had bad experiences, some life-threatening. A very few people have died. Thousands more die from alcohol use… but we tried alcohol prohibition, remember? It didn’t work.

Meanwhile, since 2000, tens of thousands of teens have used synthetic drugs with no negative side effects at all, making it safer than alcohol! No mention made of that. Why not? It’s a FACT.

Picking Apart the Re-Education

Following are a few of the seminar’s inconsistencies, half-truths and omissions discovered by doing a tiny bit of research. Research Candy should have done.

• “People who suggest that one can attain spiritual and intellectual enlightenment from drug use are crazies,” Candy said early in the presentation. This is opinion, not fact. We’ll skip mentioning the centuries of learned spiritual leaders who have used drugs for exactly this purpose. 


• According to her data, 13% of users who ended up in an ER said they had suicidal tendencies. Candy implied that synthetic drugs increase suicidal tendencies. However, there is zero evidence of this. There IS evidence that people who have suicidal tendencies tend to use drugs and alcohol. There is also evidence that “suicidal behavior among college students is lower where the price of beer is higher.” Why not ban cheap beer? 


• 
  She showed the frightening “crazy teen on bath salts” video, again implying that this behavior is possible for anyone using bath salts. Not true. Excited delirium occurs mostly with men who have a history of serious mental illness and/or acute or chronic drug abuse. That’s hardly anyone. 


• Users experiencing excited delirium can exhibit “superhuman, unexpected physical strength.” No proof of this either. “Superhuman strength” claims have been made about almost every illegal drug. 


• One slide read: “No legitimate use — recreational drug.” This justifies making it illegal? What are the legitimate uses for whiskey, donuts, and caffeine? 


• Another slide stated that we need to “understand the correlation between synthetic drug use and high risk behaviors in teens,” high risk behaviors being sex, more drugs and DUI. Take away synthetic drugs then, poof, all that disappears? Of course not. Let’s talk about what sugar and food additives do to a kid’s behavior. 


• She showed this poison control chart but the data stops in June 2011. She explained that calls dropped off dramatically in 2012 “because now ER doctors know what to do and users don’t have to call poison control anymore.” Ah ha, that explains it. Although it doesn’t explain how teens somehow knew this. 


• She showed this chart titled “Synthetic drug incidents on the rise” data ending June 2011. That was two years ago. How do we know it’s still on the rise? Can we make decisions based on old, incomplete data? Isn’t this mayhem important enough to keep tabs on? 


• Another slide showed that 11,406 users visited an ER in 2010… three years ago. So maybe people didn’t just stop calling poison control, they stopped showing up at ERs. Where is that data? 


• One of her slides read: “Research has proven that MDMA [Ecstasy] causes permanent brain damage in as little as one use.” Not only is this untrue, Ecstasy is being studied for its therapeutic benefits. 


• On another slide: “Psychosis reported in approximately 14-40% of cases in a UK Emergency Room study.” Wow, what a distortion of the truth! The 40% comes from a study of 35 visitors to a Michigan ER. That’s 14 people in a single ER. Hardly an epidemic. Meanwhile, the 14% comes from a study of 157 phone calls to the UK’s NPIS. So 36 users out of hundreds of thousands worldwide provides reliable data on which we’ll base public policy? Wow again. Saying this data represents “14-40%” of cases for any purpose at all is so misleading, it’s practically a lie. 


• Synthetic marijuana was accidentally discovered by a compassionate Clemson professor who was looking for treatments for MS, AIDS and chemotherapy. His slide was practically booed! Wow. 


• She said that most synthetic drug deaths occur after police have used restraints and tasers. Sadly, true. 


• She called melatonin-laced brownies “frightening” and said that “melatonin mixed with alcohol is very dangerous and can be fatal.” Zero evidence of this anywhere, making this a gross exaggeration. 

On Criminalizing Melatonin

Apparently, the FDA is looking into regulating melatonin. How ridiculous! Melatonin is a harmless substance sold OTC in every drug store, superstore, grocery store and vitamin store in the US, whether brick and mortar or online.

“Melatonin is a natural, non-addicting hormone supplement that assists with sleep.” — Dr. Oz

Melatonin is not addicting, not harmful in anyway. In fact, it is believed by many experts — including the National Institute of Health — to have healing properties.

“At relatively large dosages (75–80 milligrams) it appears to produce an increase in total sleep, along with a decrease in daytime sleepiness. This is all without hangover. It appears to be a sleep catalyst at modest levels, and a soporific at higher levels, where it can be administered chronically (75 mg/day) for a couple of weeks. with satisfactory effects. There is a paucity of reports at intermediate dosage levels.

Another study has shown melatonin to be very protective of the DNA in human white blood cells from gamma irradiation, even at very low concentrations. This may be due to the strong anti-oxidant properties of melatonin.” — PiHKAL by Dr. Shulgin.

No matter that melatonin is not harmful and possibly healthful, says Dr. Shulgin:

“In the name of drug control, melatonin will eventually become illegal, and it will then pass totally out of any semblance of control.”

Candy was laying the groundwork for this in her seminar. Why? Either she is terribly concerned about your children and the imagined dangers of melatonin — which can be dispelled with 15 minutes of research — or, like a lot of people in today’s world, she is terribly concerned about job security.

Drug warriors need a few drugs to be illegal so they can keep their jobs. And they need you and me to be terribly frightened so we will go along with the game. It’s certainly possible Candy believes what she is doing is moral and righteous. It is not.

And Reefer?

Not a negative word said. Not one. Because it’s no longer possible to make pot out to be a menace to society. Marijuana is not only harmless, it has medicinal uses. The government’s own studies prove this. Another government study proved that marijuana is not a gateway drug. Inconvenient truths, but you can’t argue facts.

Synthetic drugs will go the way of bathtub gin, of course. Why not just legalize pot? In fact, it would be interesting to check out how synthetic mj sales are doing in Washington and Colorado these days.

Kids are a) going to get high and b) believe they are immortal. Dangerous combo. If we cared about teen users, we’d educate them and the adults around them with facts. Why aren’t we?

P.S. Local Head Shop Gets A Mention

At the end of her seminar, Candy asked if anyone had heard of The Botany Bay? A few people, me included, raised our hands. She said the Bay is “raided like monthly” and that it “writes it off as a business expense.” Those remarks fit the definition of slander.

The Botany Bay has been raided exactly two times in the past 3 years. Yes, the $300,000 these two raids have cost the owner would be considered a business expense. Unless you call it what it was: being vandalized, stolen from, harassed and intimidated by government thugs, then being shamelessly extorted when it looked like she might get away with running a legal business.

The facts of this matter — like all the other facts in all the other matters above — can be confirmed with a quick internet search. It seems only fair that Candy be required to get her facts updated before she is allowed to lead another one of these training sessions at tax payer expense.

The war against so-called ‘vaccine preventable’ diseases has a new frontier: the Internet, and most recently The Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) has entered the fray with the publication of an interactive map that it claims “visually plots global outbreaks of measles, mumps, whooping cough, polio, rubella, and other diseases that are easily preventable by inexpensive and effective vaccines.”  This widely referenced map generated news headlines such as:

• 
  LA Times: “The toll of the anti-vaccination movement, in one devastating graphic” 


• 
  Medical Daily: “Map Shows Anti-Vaccine Movement’s Impact On Public Health In U.S., Europe”  


• The Verge: “Map of preventable disease outbreaks shows the influence of anti-vaccination movements”

CFR’s map is “made possible by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation,” and is part of The Global Health Program at the Council on Foreign Relations, which it claims “provides independent, evidence-based analysis and recommendations to help policymakers, business leaders, journalists, and the general public meet the health challenges of a globalized world.”  The problem, however, with this map is that is not based on peer-reviewed biomedical evidence as one would expect, but largely anecdotal evidence aggregated from unconfirmed and often unverifiable news stories.

With not a shred of evidence, reporters like Michael Hiltzik from the LA Times opine that the prevalence of measles in Europe — especially Britain — and the U.S are an “artifact of the anti-vaccination movement, which has associated the vaccine with autism.” Really? Why no mention of the extensive evidence within the published literature of measles vaccine failure in the US since 1995 in immunization compliant populations, revealing that measles epidemics are often due to a failing vaccine and not the failure to vaccine? If the CFR’s map is ‘evidence-based,’ why no references to the primary literature?

Take a quick peek at a few examples of the explicitly not evidence-based sources for this map, which are simply rebroadcasted official statements of state- or private medical establishment-sponsored propaganda:

• www.BrownwoodNews.com: “Record Cases of Pertussis Reported Across the State, Three Reported in Brown County” 


• www.davisclipper.com: “Adults also need pertussis vaccine”
  


• www.springfieldnewsun.com: “Clark pertussis cases still rising”
  

Shockingly, in the last CFR/Gates Foundation map’s reference from the Springfield News Sun the author actually points out that one of the likely causes of the increase in pertussis vaccine is the vaccine itself:

Reasons for the increase are multi-pronged, but may be due in part to changes to the pertussis vaccine, according to the study.

The FDA conducted the study in baboons, an animal that reproduces whooping cough similar to humans. Two groups of baboons were vaccinated with whole-cell pertussis vaccine and the accelluar vaccine, which replaced the use of whole-cell vaccine in the 1990 due to concerns about sides effects.

“Animals that received an acellular pertussis vaccine had the bacteria in their airways for up to six weeks and were able to spread the infection to unvaccinated animals. In contrast, animals that received whole-cell vaccine cleared the bacteria within three weeks,” according to a news release from Jennifer Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the FDA.

Clearly, the CFR’s map cannot be taken seriously, and is simply a higher order expression of at best subpar health reporting, at worst baseless propaganda, demagogically projected into the media to hapless consumers whose ability to think critically and question authority is virtually non-existent.

By framing advocates of non-vaccination as rabidly irrational ‘anti-vaxxers’ and blaming them for what are often non-vaccine preventable diseases — having far more to do with environmental factors such as access to clean water and basic nutrition — the CFR (and the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation who shares responsibility in creating this disturbingly inane and non-credible piece of propaganda) is joining a growing global movement, recently evidenced by UNICEF’s attack on independent health journalism related to vaccines, aimed at eliminating vaccine choice, despite increasing awareness of their true dangers and lack of effectiveness. The result of this shoddy work, however, is to further lionize a growing global movement to reject the alarmingly rapid expansion of vaccine schedules in favor of a more natural, precautionary approach to disease prevention.

The information war can be quickly lost if one cannot get their assets onto the “battlefield.” For the US, UK or Europe, the constant din of their propaganda spread across the planet via their impressive and immense media networks has recently run into a few snags.

In nations like Russia, China or Iran, ruling governments and local industry have begun creating their own Internets, their own alternatives to US-controlled social media platforms and search engines, and in some cases, even their own hardware to run it all on. They have also taken a cue from the US and decided to put in “kill switches” and censorship measures to prevent information from abroad being piped into their nation and disseminated among their populations.

Or more accurate than saying “to prevent information from abroad,” one could say, “propaganda from abroad.”

For instance, the US State Department’s Voice of America network openly attempts to insert narratives favorable to US interests in targeted countries. So important does the US State Department see this mission, it has even attempted to construct independent communication networks by building their own towers and relay stations.

The US State Department has also spent millions of dollars on developing an “Internet in a suitcase,” or a means to create an Internet among activists even when the government of a nation targeted by the US for regime change shuts down the real Internet. Far from science fiction, the New York Times would even cover it in their article, “U.S. Underwrites Internet Detour Around Censors.”

But the problem the US State Department and the special interests that underwrite it, is that such solutions are easily overcome by other governments, and even non-state actors operating in the defense of their nation against US-backed sedition.

In order to crowdsource such a project, and have it spread prolifically across the planet, it must be made to appear altruistic, unattached to the political subversion it is actually created for, and put into the hands of unwitting, well-intentioned hackers for the purpose of building it, refining it and perpetually updating it to adapt and overcome whatever challenges it faces.

Enter the “Outernet”

At first glance, the Outernet looks like an amazing social project by genuine people interested in empowering people with the vast amounts of free information available on the Internet. It is a satellite-based broadcast, meaning it can reach anyone on Earth with a receiver. And while it talks about a “library in your pocket” and how having that information could change society, it also talks about the inability for sovereign governments to censor it. But who would want to censor a library?

At second glance, one will notice Syed Karim, the “founder” of Outernet. Karim was previously “director of innovation” at the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) which, surprise, funds the Outernet. And in turn, MDIF is run by former employees of Open Society, with Open Society funding MDIF.

In other words, at second glance, we see Open Society behind the Outernet through a series of carefully concealed fronts and an incestuous, tangled web of conflicts of interest. The initial nobility of the concept only further spirals into the abyss of government- and corporate-sponsored mass public persuasion and manipulation when one reads the archives of what has actually been broadcast already using Outernet.

Some of my favorites include “war surgery,” perfect for America’s terrorist mercenary army now operating in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Libya. There is also FEMA, WHO’s Ebola site and the Albert Einstein Institution: Advancing Freedom Through Nonviolent Action. The Albert Einstein Institution, it should be remembered, played a central role in building up the US State Department’s various networks behind so-called “color revolutions” that have since hit Ukraine, the Middle East and even as far as Southeast and East Asia.

Content is broadcast based on “votes.” But as everyone should know, voting itself is subject to mass manipulation either of the voters’ own perception, or of the very mechanics of the vote itself. It is also very clear that content that is either well sponsored, or is put out by well-organized groups, gets placed toward the top of the list including links to the Jehovah Witnesses.

Thus the “great equalizer” Karim claimed Outernet is, is in fact yet another channel of Western government and corporate propaganda, giving those who already monopolize vast territory amid the information war, yet another weapon to use against unsuspecting minds. The only real feature that makes Outernet different from cable television or the Internet, is the fact that it is broadcast from a satellite, and thus difficult to block in a targeted country, and receivable by whomever the US State Department takes pilfered tax dollars and buys receiver sets for.

Currently, however, there is also a lot of very useful information that is being broadcast, voted up by legitimate users of the system, using the system as it should in theory be used. The problem is, whenever special interests want, they can override “the vote,” and spread propaganda and sedition anywhere on Earth.

It should be noted that projects by Google and Facebook, both partners of the NSA and its information war against humanity, have similar plans to Outernet. They propose roving drones or airships that transmit the Internet all over the world like Outernet’s satellite arrangement. Again, it would be assets controlled by the US government and corporations, and potentially beyond the reach of sovereign nations targeted by broadcasts and the sedition they are there to support.

It is clear that at least one foot has been placed in space, regarding the ongoing and ever-evolving information war. Other nations are likely to follow suit, placing their own broadcasters above the West and beaming down information the West would otherwise like controlled or silenced altogether. For the hackers and enthusiasts clamoring over the idea of Outernet, they can’t be blamed. But they would be wise to look deeper into who is behind it, and think about alternatives they could create to truly realize this concept as it should be, and deny these interests yet another noble cause to hide behind, and ultimately ruin with their deceit.

Nations without information warfare capabilities in the 21st century are like nations without armies and navies in the 20th century. They are defenseless.

Imagine a nation without an army, a navy or an air force. What would its prospects be of defending itself against even moderate aggression? What if it had an army, even a formidable one, but was missing an air force and/or navy? Would its chances be any better?

Before the invention of human flight, war was fought in two dimensions by armies and navies upon the surface of the planet. With the introduction of aircraft to warfare, a new dimension was added. Nations that fell behind the curve building and rebuilding their air forces would find themselves consistently at a disadvantage. Those nations that stayed ahead of the curve would cite air power as key to their victories throughout recent history.
Today, undoubtedly, information warfare is no longer a novelty. It has been honed into a weapon of devastating effect able to confuse, divide and destroy nations in a dimension conventional warfare often cannot even reach.

The use of the Internet and information warfare soared to new heights during the Arab Spring. Hardly the spontaneous uprising it was portrayed as across the Western media, for years beforehand the US State Department together with tech-giants Google and Facebook prepared armies of information warriors to disrupt, divide, confuse and take over the information space in the respective nations the US targeted for regime change in 2011.

Like an air force entering undefended airspace, the US State Department’s information warfare capabilities met little resistance and quickly overwhelmed and assumed control over information space in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Syria. Only Syria and Egypt’s immense conventional military and political power prevented tragedies like that which unfolded in Libya from repeating itself elsewhere. However, it cannot be denied that across the region, information warfare was neglected and unnecessary leverage was conceded to the US amid a much larger theater of conflict.

Vulnerabilities in the Information Space

While the Internet and its use in information warfare is relatively new, information warfare is not. The US and the British before them have spent over the decades, and for the British, centuries, investing in whatever forms of media existed at the time to ensure their voice among it was loudest if not the only voice to be heard.

Today, the US through a myriad of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) reaches deep into a foreign nation’s information space and media creating entire fronts to broadcast their messages from.

With overseas scholarships and training programs they aim at luring young, ambitious journalists into becoming indoctrinated and reliable outlets of US propaganda and ideally, collaborators with US interests when opportunities present themselves.

In many nations, particularly throughout the developing world, governments do not take advances in information technology seriously, failing to recognize the importance of maintaining control over it and countering efforts to co-opt and use it against them. Their views of how to manage the media are very often outdated, leaving them particularly vulnerable across the entirety of their information space.

In these nations, information from the government’s point of view is often disseminated through press releases or government-owned broadcasters that hold little credibility both domestically and internationally.

Building Better Defenses for Information Space

Defending one’s information space depends on occupying it fully, first and foremost. This means making it difficult if not impossible for foreign nations to set up and operate media operations within a targeted nation’s borders to begin with.

Occupying Your Information Space: Russia’s relatively recent NGO laws forcing foreign-funded organizations to register as foreign agents undermines their legitimacy simply by demanding in reality the transparency these organizations often demand disingenuously as a means of attacking and undermining a targeted government.

By exposing the foreign-funded nature of their operations, effectively exposing the disingenuous intentions and financial motivations they harbor and making it difficult for them to operate while giving space to legitimate, indigenous and most importantly, constructive opposition, squeezes them out of a nation’s information space like a well planned garden crowds out weeds.

Controlling and Projecting From Your Information Space: Russia’s RT, China’s CCTV, Iran’s PressTV and South America TeleSUR are all examples of another means of filling and dominating one’s information space.

Not only do these news organizations adequately cover the news in their respective nations alongside a myriad of similar state-run media operations, they are able to communicate with, appeal to and persuade audiences well beyond their borders. It is a way of countering US and European propaganda both at home and abroad, balancing what has been for decades a lopsided information war.

Because these operations are run as professional, internationally aware and objective news organizations with minimal overt government influence, they are effective at appealing to foreign audiences.

For nations sorely lacking such news organizations, particularly across Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East, nations like Russia and China already exporting defense capabilities of a more conventional kind, could consider exporting defensive capabilities for information space.

Neglecting Information Warfare Invites Attack

Nations that have habitually neglected information warfare have invited attack. Nations with notoriously unsound defenses for their information space are often flooded with foreign NGOs who occupy and control it to such an extent, governments are forced to capitulate to otherwise easily countered propaganda campaigns.

Investing in information warfare is not “optional” any more so than investing in a properly trained and equipped conventional military. The reality of the 21st century is that wars are no longer fought merely on land, sea, and air. They are fought in information space as well and failure to understand and defend against such threats accordingly is as bad as leaving a nation’s borders undefended, its skies unwatched, and its shores unguarded.

RT’s article, “​Vaccines don’t cause autism, complications extremely rare – study,” states that:

We found evidence that some vaccines are associated with serious AEs [adverse effects]; however, these events are extremely rare and must be weighed against the protective benefits that vaccines provide.

The report’s conclusions are hardly convincing. But what’s more troubling, is the immense conflict of interest from which the report itself was written. The authors include Margaret A. Maglione, Lopamudra Das, Laura Raaen, Alexandria Smith, Ramya Chari, Sydne Newberry, Roberta Shanman, Tanja Perry, and Courtney Gidengil, all of the corporate-funded think tank, RAND Corporation.

While the report itself was funded by the US government, the RAND Corporation from which its authors were drawn is funded by the very corporations (.PDF page 70) that manufacture various vaccines, including the MMR vaccine which was the primary focus of the report. Big-pharma sponsors of RAND include GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Merck – that latter of which is listed by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) specifically as the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine.

Merck has also directly and openly funded other studies put out by RAND (here and here). RAND’s other big-pharma sponsor, GSK, has been recently exposed amid a global multi-billion dollar bribing scandal where it was paying off doctors to endorse and distribute their products.

With Pediatrics’ report exposed as – at the very least – an irresponsible, unethical exercise in research, and at worst, corporate propaganda masquerading as a scientific paper, those considering whether or not to have vaccines manufactured by deceitful pharmaceutical monopolies injected into their bodies, have an added incentive to hold off and search for alternatives.

While the science of vaccinations may be sound, the corporations that have monopolized their manufacturing and distribution are demonstrably dishonest and criminal. The debate is not necessarily whether the process of vaccinating is good or bad, but why criminal enterprises have monopolized that process and what can be done to stop them. As with everything else corporate monopolies do, there is a hidden agenda behind the drive to whitewash and promote big-pharma’s vaccines – an agenda that may transcend mere profits and demands additional scrutiny. If commentators want to assign blame upon anyone for creating public distrust in vaccines, it should be upon big-pharma itself.

The Zika virus was first observed in monkeys in 1947, 69 years ago, when researchers from the Rockefeller Foundation were conducting a research for Yellow Fever in the Zika Forest of Uganda. Zika is back again, but not to produce people with small brains. They already exist in the highest levels of government. Zika is here to create conflict, uncertainty, and conditioned belief patterning. Zika is an ingredient in the recipe for the next disaster, by design.

Government chefs have successfully stirred the pot of disasters for centuries by controlling the mind (i.e., govern = control, ment = mind).“If you can control the opposites, you dominate the nature of the outcome.” Control at all costs is the purpose of government. When people begin to rise up, think for themselves, and question government, the heat gets turned up. And what better way for government to turn up the heat than through an unseeable virus?

A virus is a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, too small to be seen by a light microscope, that replicates within its host. Science now recognizes that 10% of our cells are virus. Just like nature works in balance, we, too, are a melting pot of bacteria, virus, and other microbes living in harmony with our environment. Western medicine defines a virus as the causative agent of an infectious disease to be terminated. Officials demonize the virus. And we believe them and take on these beliefs as our own. This is the point at which they have created the perfect recipe for the next disaster. It’s as easy as Problem, Reaction, Solution!

Step One: Create A Conflict. And Make It Personal.

Think back to HIV or Ebola. Think further back to Polio or the Black Death. In each case, the government created uncertainty by alerting people to a sharp rise in unusual symptoms they claimed were infectious, and dubbed them with a new disease label. This scenario created the victim by transferring power to the kitchen.

Without directing attention to known toxic exposures of the time, the head chef blamed the problem on the lowly virus that only he could sniff out. In the case of polio, exposures that created paralysis affecting whole nations were later traced to the wide-spread aerial spraying of the toxic pesticide DDT, under the guise of preventing polio. With everyone distracted over a virus, no one was looking up to the planes to connect the dots.

The Black Death of the 13th century, known as “the plague” was blamed on a bacterium during a time when there were no microscopes to identify a microbe. Recently, researchers examining plague DNA found, in 25 14th-century skeletons, evidence that the disease was airborne rather than distributed via flea bites. Medieval doctors at the time thought the plague was created by air corrupted by humid weather, decaying unburied bodies, and fumes produced by poor sanitation.

Looking at exposures, it was likely the Great Famine of 1315-1317, which preceded the Black Plague of 1346-1351, that reduced the immunity of the population and created the conditions ripe for the spread of respiratory disease from poor air quality as people began using coal! The recommended treatment of the plague was a good diet, rest, and relocating to a non-infected environment so the individual could get access to clean air.

Step Two: Reaction:  Stir The Pot To Create Hysteria.

Government sounds the alarm through the press:

1. Report that Zika virus causes Microcephaly in Brazil and show dramatic photos of babies with small heads.


2. Claim that Zika is spread by mosquitoes and report that thousands of babies with small heads have been infected with the virus while their mothers were pregnant (while ignoring that only 6 of 270 cases are connected to the virus).


3. Declare Zika an emergency close to home. In fact, make it an international emergency!


4. Generate news feeds that claim Zika is a bigger threat to global health than the Ebola epidemic that killed more than 11,000 people in Africa.


5. Report (like HIV) that Zika is spread sexually.


6. Tell women to stop having babies. Stop having sex, too?


7. Urge women “victims” to abort their fetuses.


8. Wage war on Zika and send troops into battle to fight an invisible enemy (i.e., gather data house-to-house).


9. Make it mandatory to report cases of Zika. Later, make the vaccine mandatory.

Step Three: Dish out the vaccine pie.

1. 
   Add Zika to the growing list of “must-have” vaccines as they did with polio and plan to do with Ebola,


2. Bring hope to the worried masses that the new Zika vaccine is nearly ready to go. Let the headlines read: “huge discovery that brings hope to thousands of women” like they have  done with the new breast cancer vaccine.

From what exposures are we being distracted? Where is the connection between virus and disease? On which tests are they basing the association? A quick Internet search on Zika virus will net a connection that has less to do with Microcephaly and more to do with its owner, the Rockefeller Foundation, which patented the Zika virus long ago. Problem, Reaction, Solution!

According to the Foundation for Children with Microcephaly, 25,000 microcephalic babies each year in the U.S. are being diagnosed with no connection to the virus. According to a January 31st, 2016 New York Times article, the experts claim, “Microcephaly simply means that the baby’s head is abnormally small — sometimes just because the parents themselves have unusually small heads.” Really? That’s the scientific basis?

When prompted further, the answer is, “A causal relationship between Zika virus infection and birth malformations and neurological syndromes has not yet been established, but is strongly suspected… because there are more observable cases.”  Better diagnostic scrutiny is the go-to, scientific explanation used commonly in all epidemics from autoimmune disease to cancer.

However, according to the University of Rochester, NY medical center, Microcephaly can be caused by:

1. Genetic disorders


2. Exposure to hazardous chemicals or substances


3. Methylmercury poisoning


4. Lack of proper vitamins and nutrients in the diet


5. Intrauterine infection with cytomegalovirus, rubella, or varicella virus


6. Prescription or illegal drug and alcohol consumption


7. Untreated phenylketonuria

When it comes to “viral microcephaly,” correlation does not equal causation. Have we forgotten that someone can test positive for a virus (HIV) without having full-blown disease (AIDS)? And what ever happened with polio? Has the polio vaccine lived up to its promises to eradicate the disease after all these years? According to reports, polio-free does not mean paralysis-free as India and other countries are finding when using the oral polio vaccine. Paralysis continues on in children and has been renamed from polio to Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) and Guillain–Barré Syndrome. Same animal different stripes.

What Are The Environmental Exposures ?

1. One year before cases of Microcephaly began appearing in Brazil, Brazil announced in late 2014 an initiative to mandate pregnant women with the DTaP vaccine. The DTaP vaccine package insert states: “It is not known whether Tripedia vaccine can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproductive capacity. Tripedia vaccine is NOT indicated for women of child-bearing age.”


2. Similarly, in 2011, CDC recommended a TDap shot during every pregnancy in the US. Prior to FDA licensure, the TDaP vaccine was not tested in or proven safe and effective for pregnant women in large clinical trials when given during every pregnancy either singly or simultaneously. When did those 25,000 Microcephaly babies start arriving?
   


3. The CDC tells women to get their TDaP in their third semester. Good idea? These recommendations are based on studies looking at the effectiveness of cocooning  based on mathematical models, not on real-life (epidemiological) evidence. As the baboon study showed, those assumptions cannot necessarily be made.


4. In July 2015, genetically-engineered mosquitoes were released in Brazil (the same area as the Microcephaly babies) to “combat” dengue fever—a project implemented by Oxitec company with claims they reduced the mosquito that causes dengue fever by more than 90%, but this appears to have backfired. Dengue fever continues, as does the uncontrolled breeding of GE mosquitoes.


5. As of January 2016, unapproved GE mosquitoes may have already been released in Florida.


6. As of 2013, the Gates Foundation is funding a project to genetically engineer mosquitoes so that they can produce and deliver a vaccine (via their saliva).

The last ingredient into the Disaster cake is the icing, the Zika vaccine, which stands to gain huge profits for vaccine maker Sanofi Pasteur if a global crisis can be milked for all it’s worth. Meanwhile, vaccines contain hazardous chemicals and substances, including viruses, that are known potential causes of Microcephaly.

Chuckling to myself, I could not pass up the opportunity to highlight the Oxford Dictionaries’ international word of the year for 2016, post-truth, an adjective defined as:

relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief

Why was I chuckling?

Since 2002 my research, writing and consultation to help everyday people learn the whole truth about money, wealth and the economy has fallen mostly on deaf ears. As often as possible I source public domain Federal Reserve and U.S. Government agency information, statistics and graphs to share and expound upon the realities of actual inflation, economic policies and central-bank money mechanics.

But it does not seem to matter how official my sources are when it comes to who wants to know.
