A horror anthology series by Guillermo del Toro, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy, Pacific Rim and some incisive design critiques about UFOs, is on its way to Netflix. Titled Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight, it will feature horror tales handpicked by del Toro, who will also write and direct some episodes. The series is the first horror anthology for Netflix.

According to Deadline, del Toro will be teaming up with his Shape of Water co-producer J. Miles Dale, and will “hand pick a team of top horror writers and new filmmakers to bring his selection of stories to life.” del Toro, who is also working on a Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark movie for CBS films, previously created the Emmy-winning fantasy series Trollhunters for Netflix with Dreamworks Animation; its final season premieres on May 25th.

Netflix will bring its reboot of Lost in Space back for a second season. It announced the news today via Twitter with a brief teaser video, though it declined to share a release date.

Lost in Space premiered earlier this year as a reimagining of the 1960s family science fiction show (not exactly the film featuring Matt LeBlanc). The show stars Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey as the ruthless Dr. Smith (not to mention creature actor Brian Steele in the role of the “hot” robot). Much like past iterations, Netflix’s version follows the Robinson family as they crash-land on a strange planet and struggle to survive, with the help of a highly suggestible robot.

The 10-episode first season is available on Netflix.
