One photo promoted in the orchestrated hoax of UFOs over Turkey

A fear about an invasion by UFOs sparked a small panic on social media on Sunday, November 27. The story played out AS IF many people were seeing and reporting the same cluster of lights in the sky across the country and even later in

other places. But that wasn’t what was happening. Our UFO media expert, Scott Brando, (@UFOofInterest) spotted the trending story as it made waves.

... The story went viral when a well-known UFO hoax site on YouTube, SecureTeam10, run by Tyler Glockner, made a video compilation and stirred up manufactured concern. Their “Breaking News” report about the Turkey event has nearly a half million views. A second video with more fake reports, has nearly 400,000. In the second video, Glockner promoted ridiculously false statements about the media being run by government, and that these sightings and reports are being “censored” across all platforms (an impossibility) because there is something going on “they” don’t want us to know about. Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, various movies (including Hellboy and Titanic) and other projects. This is not his first excursion into the field of ufology. Meni was responsible for direction, animation and lighting of another well-known UFO hoax (see "UFO over Santa Clarita" on the page Koi UFO Video 080). He admitted that hoax and posted a video effects breakdown of it years ago and is well known as the creator of viral/hoax videos. His other uploads to the same Youtube account include an amusing viral video of a flying car. I find it somewhat bemusing that anyone could spent 5 minutes watching the video but not bother spending 1 minute looking into the uploader of the video, which would easily reveal these facts. I'm regularly bemused by the conduct of some people in ufology... So many things within ufology are the basis of speculation when a little bit of work reveals relevant facts. This applies to government documents in various archives as much as it does to "UFO" videos on Youtube.
