Trump suggests NBC fire Debra Messing.

President Trump late Sunday took to Twitter to identify his own success in criminal justice reform and called out celebrities for not acknowledging his efforts, namely singer John Legend and his "filthy mouthed wife" Chrissy Teigen.

Trump blasted the singer and his wife “for talking now about how great” the reform is, but not playing a role when it mattered.  Trump signed the First Step Act into law last year that reduces mandatory minimum sentences in certain instances and gives judges more discretion. More than 3,100 inmates will be released under the act, which has been praised by both Republicans and Democrats.

Legend responded to Trump’s tweet by appealing to the first lady.

“Imagine being president of a whole country and spending your Sunday night hate-watching MSNBC hoping somebody—ANYBODY—will praise you. Melania, please praise this man.  He needs you,” he tweeted. A minute later he tweeted, “Your country needs you, Melania.”

The news channel was airing "Justice For All," a special on mass incarceration in the country and Legend was interviewed during the broadcast.

Teigen called the president a “p***y a** b***h” for tagging “everyone” but her in his tweet. Legend, in a  tongue-in-cheek appeal, requested that followers not to retweet the vulgar comment as a hashtag.

Legend, 40, and his wife have been fierce critics of the president. The Grammy winner called Trump a “piece of s***” and a canker sore on the country after the president’s criticism of Baltimore.

In an interview with USA Today, Teigen said, "I've actually been a big Donald Trump hater [for a long time]. I've been trolling him for about five to seven years now," she said. "I've been doing this forever, and I take pride in that."

Trump talked about criminal justice reform and how President “Obama couldn’t come close” to passing meaningful law. The president said he is tired of “boring musician John Legend” and his wife for touting the bill.

"They only talk about the minor players, or people that had nothing to do with it...And the people that so desperately sought my help when everyone else had failed, all they talk about now is Impeaching President Trump!," Trump tweeted.

Rock icon Steven Tyler has revealed a few of his past mistakes, including upsetting his daughter, Liv Tyler, when he once hit on Cameron Diaz and admitting to the crazy amount of coke he has done in his lifetime. 

On Thursday's episode of the "Late Late Show host James Corden," Tyler was forced to "spill his guts" during Corden's live game where the celebrity has to choose between eating an un-appetizing group of food, from cow's tongue to bird saliva, or answer a tell-all question about themselves. 

During the game, Corden asked the rock legend if he had ever hit on any of his daughter's friends. 

Tyler then said, "Yes I have. And I got a lot of s--- for it too."

He went on to explain that while he was once seated next to Cameron Diaz, who is now married to Benji Madden, he said, "Cameron, should you ever need someone to take you to the movies or you know, like, if I was to, you know, ask you to show me around London."

Not amused by his behavior, Liv turned to her father and said, "'Daddy, you're hitting on my best girlfriend!' And I got ashamed for a moment.'"

Later on, The Aerosmith frontman admitted that he had spent  "about $2 million" on drugs in his lifetime, revealing that most of the money he spent on cocaine. "I snorted half of Peru," he said.

The rocker, who has been in rehab several times since 1983, had no problem talking about this past drug addiction, but when it came down to ranking his band members in order of talent, Tyler reluctantly chose to take a bite of the cow intestine in front of him. 

Before taking a bite of the intestine, the rocker said, "I got to go on tour with these guys. It's bad enough the s--- I say to them."

Jay-Z reportedly advised friend and fellow rapper Meek Mill to cancel his visit to the White House, where he was to take part in President Trump's Prison Reform Summit on Friday. 

According to TMZ, Jay-Z called Mill on Thursday night to let him know that a meeting with Trump would damage his image. In addition to Jay-Z, the outlet reported other high-profile African-Americans also called Mill to express the same message. 

Evidently, the late-night phone calls had worked on Mill and he later released a statement to TMZ which read, "I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and Myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions."

The president is hosting Friday a Prison Reform Summit that includes members of Congress, various activists and people who have experienced life under the current prison system. 

"I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system," Mill said. "Most importantly I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system."

Mill himself was released from prison on April 24, after he was sentenced in November to four years in prison for violating previous probations stemming back to 2008, when the rapper was convicted on gun and drug charges. 

He served prison for a few months and then was given a five-year parole. But during those five years, Mill was convicted of several parole violations and was re-arrested in 2017 on two separate charges.

Upon his release, Mill issued a statement saying the past months had been "a nightmare," and thanked his many supporters and visitors, which included New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.

"Although I'm blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don't have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues," he said. 

Following a five-month campaign by his supporters to get him out, the state Supreme Court directed a Philadelphia judge who had jailed him to immediately issue an order releasing him on unsecured bail.

Staci Nelson, the estranged wife of Miranda Lambert's rumored new boyfriend, Evan Felker, posted a tearful photo on Instagram. This comes after Lambert's ex, Blake Shelton, sent his own Tweets on the matter.

Miranda Lambert’s new boyfriend, Evan Felker, reportedly sent his estranged wife a scheduling order to terminate their marriage.

The Turnpike Troubadours frontman filed the order on Tuesday, Us Weekly reported. Felker was reportedly worried his wife, Staci Nelson, would “unduly delay the divorce.”

A source told Us Weekly Nelson was “surprised” by the motion but “eager to move on.”

Following reports of Felker and Lambert’s relationship, Nelson shared a tearful selfie on her Instagram story Thursday with a caption stating, “PSA: If Staci Felker [using her married name] can make it through this week, so can you.”

The Vegas Golden Knights’ national anthem singer threw shade at county music superstar Carrie Underwood ahead of his performance at the T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday night.

Carnell “Golden Pipes” Johnson used a Drake meme on Instagram to chide Underwood, who was turned down by the Golden Knights to sing the national anthem before Game 3 of the Western Conference Final.

Johnson, who worked as a gondolier at The Venetian hotel and resort on the Las Vegas Strip, was chosen out of 180 individuals to sing the national anthem for Vegas before the season started, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

He reportedly beat out Mirage singer Terry Fator, ex-“Jersey Boys” actor Travis Cloer among others, including Underwood herself.

Underwood jumped on the Golden Knights’ bandwagon after the Winnipeg Jets defeated her beloved Nashville Predators in the Western Conference Semifinal last week.

Her husband Mike Fisher played for the Predators and retired after the series was over.

The “Cry Pretty” singer also offered her talents to sing the national anthem before the Golden Knights’ playoff game, tweeting “I’m 2-0 in the playoffs…just saying…”

The Golden Knights turned down Underwood’s offer Sunday.

“We are very flattered by the offer but we do not plan on making any changes to our previously scheduled anthem singer lineup at this time,” the team said in statement. “This lineup includes musicians who have previously performed at our home games as well as additional entertainers with residencies or ties to Las Vegas that we have been in touch with throughout the year.”

Underwood returned to the stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards for the first time last month since suffering a facial injury that required about 50 stitches.

Hollywood power couple Chrissy Teigan and John Legend announced on Wednesday that they welcomed a son into the world, their second child.

“Somebody’s herrrrrrre!” Teigan tweeted, followed with baby bottle and smiling emojis. Teigen, 32, and Legend, 39, already have a 2-year-old daughter Luna May.

Teigen has opened up about her struggles with infertility and experiences with IVF, a procedure she used to conceive her first and second child, Vogue reported.

Teigen kept her fans updated on Twitter about the IVF process and posted last year that she was down to the couple's last embryo, the report said.

The model also told Vogue that she is prepared for postpartum depression, “when it does happen, if it does.”

“I’m so ready for it,” she said. "I have the perfect people around me for it. That's why I really stand for a good core group of people around you."

Pink has a message -- as well as a nickname -- for one Twitter troll.

The news comes after a critic age-shamed the pop star this week.

“Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead,” the person argued Wednesday. 

Pink replied, by saying that the person “must be from la.”

“Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally,” she went on. “And I’ve earned every f***ing minute of my 38 years. How you lookin though? Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth.”

The performer -- whose real name is Alecia Moore -- added, “I shall call you little purple troll.”

That message has sparked more than 8,600 retweets and 57,400 likes -- plus a comment the singer replied to. 

“Cant wait to see you when you’re 80,” a user wrote. “And if you’re still doing aerial stunts, all the better.”

“You know I will! I’ll call it ‘The wrinkles and rolls tour,’” Pink joked.

“Property Brothers” star Drew Scott, who married his longtime girlfriend Linda Phan in Italy on Saturday, said the couple is ready to have children.

Scott, 40, told People he and Phan, 33, have made room in their Los Angeles home for children.

“We’re excited to have kids,” Scott told People. “I think Linda and I will be great parents, and we’re excited to start that chapter of our lives.”

Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter, Willow, opened up about her past struggles with self-harm and cutting herself in a recent episode of Smith's new Facebook series, "Red Table Talk."

On Monday's episode titled "Surviving Loss," Smith sat down with her "Table Talk" co-hosts, her mother, Adrienne Banfield Jones, and her daughter, Willow, to talk about coping with the pain of loss.

Willow opened up to her mother and her grandmother and explained that after hitting stardom at the age of nine with the single, "Whip My Hair," the now 17-year-old said she experienced a great loss of self which led her to a dark place. 

“I would have to say I honestly feel like I lost my sanity at one point,” she said. “It was after that whole ‘Whip My Hair’ thing and I had just stopped doing singing lessons and I was kind of just in this gray area of, ‘Who am I? Do I have a purpose? Is there anything I can do besides this?’”

She then went on to reveal that in the midst of feeling conflicted about who she was, she began cutting herself. 

“After the tour and the promotion and all of that, they wanted me to finish my album. And I was like, I’m not gonna do that,” she said. “After all of that kind of settled down, I was listening to a lot of dark music and it was just so crazy and I was just plunged into this black hole and I was, like, cutting myself and doing crazy things.”

Shocked by the revelation, Smith asked, “What? Really? When were you cutting yourself? I didn’t see that part? Cutting yourself where?” 

The young star then showed her mother the scars on her writsts and forearms and said, “You can't even see it. There’s still a little something there. Totally lost my sanity for a moment there."

She then admitted that she told no one in her family about phase and only one friend knew. "I never talk about it because it was such a short, weird point in my life but you have to pull yourself out of it.”

But the daughter of Will Smith reassured her mother that the phase was short-lived and she has not revisited the idea of self harm in almost five years. “I honestly felt like I was experiencing so much emotional pain but my physical circumstances weren’t reflecting that," Willow said. 

Following her daughter's talk, Smith, 46, opened up about what it was like to survive the loss of her close friend, Tupac Shakur. 

"That was a huge loss in my life. Because he was one of those people that I expected to be here," Smith admitted. "My upset is more anger because I feel like he left me - I really did believe that he was going to be here for the long run. So when I think about, I still get really mad. I get mad at God, I get mad at him, I get mad at everybody."

The 'first lady' of 'Empire' leads the way in Tyler Perry's intense new thriller.

Taraji P. Henson is due to marry NFL star Kelvin Hayden, the actress revealed this week. 

“I said yes y’all!!!” she captioned a Monday Instagram post of a photo showing two hands together -- as well as an engagement ring. 

The 47-year-old actress said, “He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!”

In part of her caption, Henson wrote, “#sheisofficiallyoffthemarketand she is sooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!!”

The controversial comedian Kathy Griffin lashed out at White House aide Mercedes Schlapp and her husband, Matt, on Twitter Saturday, lobbing a string of insults while describing a fiery encounter with the couple at a party hosted by MSNBC following last month's White House Correspondents Dinner.

Matt Schlapp, the president of the American Conservative Union, responded to Griffin's 19-post Twitter thread about him and his wife by saying, "Kathy I think it's time to move on now I'm getting a bit worried. Go away from the light."

Griffin had called the Schlapps "D.C.'s most spineless power couple" and "a bunch of suck-ups." She added that while she argued with Mercedes Schlapp over the after-dinner routine by comedian Michelle Wolf, "Matt just stood there gingerly holding his drink and sucking up some sort of clear alcohol ... through a tiny straw like a gossipy little b----."

Near the end of her rant, Griffin said: "I actually don't think Matt and Mercedes believe in and support Trump. They just know where the power is in a room and that's why they attached themselves to Trump.

Griffin said she felt obligated to speak out after Mercedes Schlapp reportedly told a White House meeting, "I stand with Kelly Sadler." Sadler, a White House communications aide, joked about Sen. John McCain's brain cancer diagnosis last week after he urged his fellow lawmakers to oppose President Trump's nomination of Gina Haspel for CIA Director, sources told Fox News.

The sources said Sadler told her colleagues that McCain's opposition to Haspel "doesn't matter, he's dying anyway."

Griffin drew public backlash after she posed with a bloodied mask of President Trump's face in May 2017. After the gory photo went viral, Griffin said sorry but later took back her apology. Following the photos, CNN cut Griffin from hosting its New Year’s Eve show alongside Anderson Cooper.

Last week, Griffin claimed on Twitter that she had received "constant death threats and threats of violence toward me" in response to the photo flap.

The CBS show “Kevin Can Wait” has been canceled, and stars Kevin James and Leah Remini are sharing messages of thanks on social media. 

The show, in which James starred as retired police officer Kevin Gable, lasted two seasons.

“I want to say thank you to all the fans for the love and support,” James wrote Saturday. “I was so blessed to be able to work every day with the most amazing cast, crew, writers and support team!”

He continued, “Thank you all! Thank you @cbstvstudios and thank you @sony for your constant dedication to the show. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything in the world… Okay, maybe a season 3. Love to all.”

'LAST MAN STANDING' RENEWED BY FOX; TIM ALLEN 'EXCITED' FOR SEASON 7

Remini made her own Instagram post on Saturday.

“I want to say thank you to the amazing cast, crew, producers, and the writers of @kevincanwaitcbs. You accepted me with open arms. For me to get to work with @officialkevinjames again day in and day out was a Godsend,” she said in part. 

Remini and James' Instagram posts have received more than 78,000 and 20,000 likes, respectively, as of Sunday afternoon. Remini shared a similar message on Twitter. 

“Kevin Can Wait” executive producer Andy Fickman initially revealed the show was axed, TVLine reported.

“Well folks that sadly is a series wrap on Kevin Can Wait,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “So proud of what we did and this remarkable and talented Cast, Writers & Crew. Also a special thanks to the amazing people of Long Island who welcomed us with open hearts!”
