He claimed that Lebanon’s Hezbollah gave land to air missiles to Polisario and this was done with the implicit consent of the Iranian embassy in Algeria.

Nasser Burita says he met with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif during his visit to Tehran. It seems that talks between two senior diplomats in Tehran and Rabat were not so useful to reduce tensions, and in the end, Mr. Burita has left Iran with his ambassador in Tehran.

The tensions between Morocco and the Polisario Front of the Western Sahara refer to Morocco’s 1975 one-way annexation of the Western Desert. Morocco sees the Western Sahara as part of its territory. On the other hand, the Polisario Front, by rejecting Moroccan claims, considers the Western Sahara as an independent country. Algeria and Cuba are sponsors of the Polisario Front and the Independent Democratic Republic of the Western Sahara.

In the same vein, however, Lebanon’s Hezbollah denied allegations and accusations by the Foreign Minister of Morocco of supporting the Polisario Front and traning its elements in general, adding that it is a pity that Morocco, due to the pressures of the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, Charges resorted to.

The political relationship between Iran and Morocco over time has included massive ups and downs. The closure of all Moroccan diplomatic ties with Iran first occurred in early 2009, in fact, Morocco completely interrupted its relations with Tehran because of what Iran’s involvement in Bahraini affairs violated Saudi foreign policy in the region. Subsequently, while calling on Mohammad Javad Zarif and Salahuddin Mazvar, Foreign Ministers of Iran and the Kingdom of the Maghreb, the two sides emphasizing the long-standing cooperation between the two nations and, agreed on the necessity and return of diplomatic relations, and a diplomatic link was established between the two countries.

Now, once again, the Moroccan government has cut off its full connection with Tehran, following which Saudi Arabia, the Arab League, the UAE and Bahrain welcomed this move of the Moroccan government and praised it and repeated claims against Iran.

In this regard, RT Arabic reported that Saudi king Salman Ben Abdul Aziz, in a telephone call with his Moroccan counterpart Mohammad VI, has emphasized Riyadh’s support for Rabat against any external threat. He confirmed Moroccan allegations against Iran and said Riyadh supports Rabat in confronting Iran’s influence and its interventions in Arab countries affairs.

Shinhua news agency also reported on another news that Emirates Foreign Minister, Anwar Kargash, has announced in a Twitter message that he has supported Morocco’s abandonment of relations with Iran.

In a Twitter message, he said: “We are pleased to announce Morocco’s concerns about national issues and the confrontation of Iran’s influence on its internal affairs. This is our fixed position at the time of friendship and hostility.”

The full support of all Saudi allied states has led the analysts uncertainly to the certainly that there is another reason behind the recent decision of the Moroccan government to completely cut off Iran’s political relationship.

Analysts say Saudi Arabia is looking for isolation of the axis of resistance in the region and the world using oil dollars.

On one hand, now that the issue of Palestine has reached a critical point in the region, and the Muslim world is witnessing Israeli brutal attacks against Palestinian protesters every week, on the other hand, as we move closer to the relocation of the US Embassy to Jerusalem, Saudi Arabia is seeking to manage the deviance of public opinion from the main issues of the Islamic world towards artificial political events and weakening the axis of resistance to the upcoming crises.
